I'm in the film school lab right now and I'm supposed to be making my Client Newsletter for my class at 7. But of course that's the last thing I want to do. I usually do my Desktop Publishing homework right after my class that ends at 5:15 all the way until class actually starts. (And half the time I'm actually on Facebook and Meebo. Basically NOT doing my work.) Problem is, I'm going to a dinner for the Evening of Remembrance tonight between class. Basically it's a night to honor Holocaust survivors and they're dedicating a historic Sefer Torah to our Interfaith Center. There's also a special ark that was made by a famous woodwork artist that the Torah will be stored in. Pretty exciting night. Unfortunately, because of my class at 7, I can only go to the dinner.

And today was Spring Sizzle. Free food! This also distracted me from starting on my homework. Especially Brenton's cotton candy.

Oh, and I also have a paper that's about a week and a half late. Almost two weeks, actually. Sigh. I might just tell her that I emailed it to her and ask if she ever got it. Lying is bad, kids! But you gotta do what you gotta do, right?

I'm almost completely moved in to my new apartment in Irvine. I have all my furniture in, I just need to bring some small stuff that's still sitting in my closet at my old apartment. I found out that Matt moved in to my room yesterday. I was completely unaware that anyone was replacing me in that apartment. Also, the entire time the movers were there in the morning on Sunday, both Jen and Lyrissa were there. Only Jen came out (when she had to shower!) to say anything to me when I was moving all my stuff out. Glad to know people care. Especially considering all the help I've provided in various aspects throughout the past year. Please don't mistake this for shit-talking. I would just like people, or my "friends", to put in the same effort into helping me or caring about me as much as I do for them. Y'know. 50 50. Not 70 30.

I'm tired of one-sided roommate situations.

Hopefully Dennis and I will be great roommates. I'm absolutely in LOVE with my apartment right now. Everything's just so convenient! Come visit! And Dennis and I are getting along pretty well. I wasn't really there for my first week, so he was kind of lonely, but the past couple of days have been pretty fun. AND he makes me breakfast. Al's also been coming over pretty much everyday just because he can, so that's pretty nice too.

I'm not sure when the housewarming is, but hopefully next week, because I have at least one paper or project due for each class in the next week. Sigh.

Okay I should really stop being distracted now.
